Day 2 at the orphanage

It's day 2 at the orphanage. Espen's last day at the Home for the Angels! Tomorrow he will be at the home with the Cruse's!

Espen Nico Cruse!!!!

It's our first meeting with our little baby at the orphanage. He's a little shy (a maybe a bit scared) of our new faces but he will adjust soon enough. We think he's adorable.

Where's Joey ? (video)

Rick and I are going halfway around the world to get our newest family member. However, we decided to leave Joey behind. The long flights, chaos, jet lag, paperwork etc.... would have been too much for him. Instead, we decided to leave him in the care of Aster and John in San Diego. We miss him dearly and hope (fingers crossed) that he is doing okay.

"In the Air Again"

Willy might have sang "On the Road Again", but Tokyo to Manila might be a little rough, so we are "In the Air Again".

Japanese Wedding

A beautiful wedding at a Shinto Shrine.

The Freshest Fish in the World

Lining up for sushi at 7am in the morning...for more than 2 hours. At least we learned that not only does Rick's Nokia make phone calls, take pictures, but has FIFA 07 and Asphalt Street Rules 3!

After more than a 2 hour wait to eat sushi for breakfast, you come to realize that 10 of the 11 fish you are eating were alive the night before. The other 1 is still alive as you eat it!

Spending some time at the world's largest fish market was amazing...they actually have the cargo carriers there for the fish to go directly from the market to be placed directly in a JAL or ANA aircraft.
